Our client has an immediate opening for a contract to hire Webmaster to join their Austin team. As an integral member of the team that supports and maintains our clients software web presence and award winning brand identity. You will provide strategic leadership in the management, maintenance, and ongoing development and enhancement of our clients corporate website, worldwide extranets, intranet and partner portals.

The Webmaster will ensure the most effective use of the various websites and web programs as tools for achieving goals. The desired candidate will bring a combination of passion, innovation, knowledge, and technical expertise to their work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communication, computer science, information systems, web design and production, or a related field plus a minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience working primarily with website development, implementation, and maintenance. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Advanced training and/or web certification desirable
• Experience working with Web/Open Source 2.0 environment and technologies
• Experience in the Macromedia MX suite is preferred
• Experience with PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS is required
• Experience with Microsoft IIS required
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop – Familiarity with layers, cropping from design mock-ups, and saving images for the web
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Experience with Apache in the Unix environment is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong organizational skills
