Position: System Test Engineer
Basic Qualifications - Minimum Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 1+ years software engineering experience
Department Description System Integration and Test group is
responsible for integration and testing of 4th generation advanced
MODEM technologies and prototypes for Mobile Devices.
Department responsibilities also include conducting internal demos
supporting customer trials performing interoperability testing and
supporting certification testing of 4G wireless products.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
- Team player working to develop and test advanced mobile devices.
- Will perform test plan development and execution.
- Effectively works with others to ensure program goals are met.
- Will interface with software and hardware engineers and customers in
carrying out demos and field trials.
- Will be involved in creation and operation of automated lab test
systems.
- Assists junior engineers and technicians in enhancing their
technical skills. ^^
Specific Knowledge/Skills
- Experienced in integration, performance and system level testing of
mobile devices.
- Systems debug and root cause analysis. Knowledge of WiMAX and/or
UMTS protocols is a plus.
- HSDPA/HSUPA, Data networking (IPV4/IPV6), VoIP and Security are
desirable.
- Hands on experience with traffic generators (Ixia, SmartBits),
signal analyzers, Linux is desirable.
- Experience in creating automation test systems is a Plus. DCS
