| If you are motivated to get involved with Austin Groups for the Elderly as a committed volunteer, you can directly make an impact on the structure of our organization by serving on the 100 Year Building Anniversary Committee. The AGE building was dedicated in 1908 as the Confederate Women's Home. In 1986, it was bought by Willie Kocurek and Bert Kruger Smith and became the home of Austin Groups for the Elderly. Help us with the planning and implementation of celebration and awareness events for the 2008 year, in addition, help aid in planning the future needs of the building (appearance, maintance, technology and community involvement).
